Super cozy and chill vibes
We had a lovely stay! The Belmont room was super spacious and clean. The breakfast was a real treat! Pat even printed out a recipe for me. The picnic area outside was perfect for snacks and chilling after exploring. One thing, though, the parking can get a bit tight sometimes.

pretty good stay but breakfast needs improvement
The house is beautifully appointed with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The wrap-around porch was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Plus, the happy hour was a lovely touch, allowing us to unwind with drinks and enjoy the living areas amidst a charming vibe. I also found the outdoor fireplace to be a delightful place to gather with friends in the evenings.
Breakfast could benefit from more variety on the menu.

Staying with my cousin was a blast! The owners were super helpful, giving us awesome tips for the local hiking trails. The breakfasts were such a treat, especially the homemade granola. Plus, the wrap-around porch was just the place to relax after our adventures.
My kids wished for more variety at breakfast.

missingWrote a review on 30 Augbreakfast variety
Breakfast fell short of expectations, with repetitive offerings like hard-boiled eggs and store-bought quiche lacking the homemade touch common in other B&Bs. The absence of blackout shades in the room meant early morning light could be disruptive, making sleep a bit tricky for night owls like me.

The serene atmosphere is perfect for unwinding, especially by the outdoor fireplace draped in cozy blankets, even on drizzly evenings. Breakfast is exceptional, with fresh, healthy options like homemade granola that make each morning special. However, the light filtering through the curtains can be a bit disruptive for late risers, and while the snacks were nice, a bit more variety would enhance the experience. Finally, the room's location can contribute to noise, which may be bothersome at times.

We loved the spacious King Room and the staff was super helpful. They provided great recommendations for exploring the lesser-known hiking trails nearby. The wrap-around porch was perfect for relaxing after our outdoor adventures. Pro tip, July and August have the best warm weather and activities.
The only downside was the breakfast. While it was decent, I expected a bit more variety. Some different options each morning would’ve been nice!

Our stay was delightful! The homemade granola was the best I've ever had, and I loved starting each day with fresh yogurt. Breakfast was always enjoyable and satisfying. Just a note, the wicker chairs in our room weren't the most comfortable, but the overall experience made us feel right at home. I'd absolutely stay here again!

Charming B&B with spacious King Room and cozy atmosphere. Breakfast had great homemade granola but lacked variety. Great location for walking tours and only a few minutes from dining and shopping.

Can't recommend highly enough for one night
Cozy room, delicious breakfast, the King Room Ground Floor was very inviting with its own private entrance, and breakfast options were delightful, featuring warm cinnamon buns among other terrific choices.
Everything was top-notch.

The Yellow House Inn charmed me instantly. It's nestled on a quiet side street yet only a two-minute stroll to the main shopping area. My King Room on the second floor was cozy, with plenty of windows that let in natural light. Each morning started beautifully on the wrap-around porch with a bowl of fresh yogurt paired with homemade granola. Breakfast featured different options every day, like blueberry pancakes. The outdoor fireplace was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Sara's hospitality stood out. She offered great local tips and even accommodated my gluten-free breakfast needs. My only complaint? The lack of blackout curtains. Early morning light made it tricky to sleep in. Overall, it was a delightful stay that I would repeat.

The Yellow House Inn is a culinary explorer's dream, nestled near Bar Harbor's Hidden gems like Jeannie's Great Maine Breakfast. The ambiance is simply charming, and our king room was both cozy and spacious, making it hard to leave. Plus, the outdoor fireplace vibe was top-notch, even on rainy nights!
Now, let's spill the beans about breakfast—while we got a mix of boiled eggs and quiche for five mornings, I expected more for a bed and breakfast! They could definitely jazz up the spread with homemade delights—the scones and yogurt were nice, but I’d dream of something gourmet to start the day right.
